The former professional ballerina is now teaching and
preparing young ballerinas for the professional stage.




Debra a native Texan was trained at Southern Methodist University.
As a professional, she danced principal and soloist roles in classical, neo-classical
and contemporary repertoire with Hartford Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Dallas Ballet
and Atlanta Ballet. She has performed as a guest artist with Nevada Dance Theater,
North Carolina Dance Theater, International Ballet Rotaru, Ballethnic, as well as
touring with Columbia Artist nationally and internationally.


Miss Bale’s faculty affiliations have included Milwaukee Ballet School,
Dallas Ballet School, School of the Atlanta Ballet, International Ballet
Rotaru Academy, The Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education and
Texas Ballet Theater School, Dallas Campus. Debra has also had the
honor of being Artist in Residence at Emory University, Georgia State
University and Guest Teacher for Dallas Black Dance Theatre.


Drawing upon valuable traditions of training styles from world renown
teachers in different disciplines of classical ballet, her goal is to produce healthy,
strong dancers possessing clean technique, placing great emphasis on artistry,
musicality, purity of line and quality of movement. Numerous students she has
trained currently are dancing in university dance programs and professional
companies.
